No, TixTreasure does not sell tickets directly. We are a price comparison tool only. When you find tickets you like on our platform, you click through to the original seller's website (TickPick, StubHub, etc.) to complete your purchase. All ticket sales, fulfillment, customer service, and refunds are handled by the marketplace you choose to buy from. We simply help you find and compare the best prices across multiple sources in one place.

Our pricing data reflects the most recent information we've collected, but we always recommend verifying the final price on the seller's website before purchasing. If you notice a significant price discrepancy, you can use the "Refresh Prices" button on event detail pages to fetch the latest data (available once every 10 minutes per event).

TixTreasure runs automated price checks every 10 minutes for the most popular events and every 6 hours for comprehensive coverage across all events. We prioritize high-demand events (based on user interest and ticket activity) for more frequent updates. For events you're actively viewing, you can manually trigger a price refresh using the "Refresh Prices" button, which fetches the latest data from all sources in real-time. Our system processes over 100,000 price observations per day to keep our database current.

Different ticket marketplaces have different inventory sources, pricing strategies, and fee structures. Even for the same seat location, you might see variations because: (1) each marketplace has relationships with different ticket sellers/brokers, (2) some sources include box office tickets while others are resale-only, (3) delivery fees and service charges vary by platform (ranging from $0 on TicketClub to $15+ on some premium sources), and (4) pricing algorithms may factor in demand differently. TixTreasure normalizes these prices to show you the true all-in cost for accurate comparisons, including per-ticket breakdowns when per-order fees apply.

"All fees included" means the price you see on TixTreasure is the complete amount you'll pay at checkout — including ticket price, service fees, delivery fees, and any other charges. Many ticket sites show a low base price but add substantial fees at the final checkout step. We calculate and display the total upfront so you can make true apples-to-apples comparisons. For sources with per-order delivery fees (like $9.95 for multiple tickets), we show the per-ticket breakdown so you understand the cost whether you're buying 1 ticket or 4.

Notification speed depends on our price update frequency. For high-demand events that we check every 10 minutes, you could receive an alert within 10-15 minutes of a price drop. For standard events checked every 6 hours, notifications may take up to 6 hours. Once a match is detected, email notifications are sent immediately, and push notifications appear within seconds (assuming you have push enabled and your browser is open). Keep in mind that popular deals can sell out quickly, so we recommend enabling push notifications for the fastest response time.

To purchase tickets: (1) Browse events or use search to find the show you want, (2) click on the event to see seat-level pricing and interactive seatmaps, (3) review prices from all available sources and choose the best option for your budget and seating preference, (4) click the "Buy on [Marketplace]" button next to your chosen listing, and (5) complete your purchase on the seller's website (TickPick, StubHub, etc.). You'll be redirected to the marketplace with the specific listing preselected. All payment and ticket delivery is handled by the marketplace you choose.

Since TixTreasure doesn't handle ticket sales, all customer service issues must be resolved with the marketplace where you completed your purchase. If you have problems with ticket delivery, authenticity, refunds, or order modifications, contact the seller directly (TickPick support, StubHub customer service, etc.). Each marketplace has its own buyer protection policies and support teams. Ticket authenticity guarantees come from the marketplace you purchase from, not TixTreasure. We only link to reputable, established ticket platforms like StubHub, TickPick, VividSeats, and SeatGeek — all of which offer buyer protection and authenticity guarantees. Most major marketplaces provide 100% guarantees that your tickets are authentic and valid for entry, and will offer refunds or replacements if there are any issues. Always review the specific buyer protection policy of the marketplace you're buying from before completing your purchase.

Refund policies vary by marketplace and ticket type. Most resale marketplaces (StubHub, VividSeats, etc.) do not offer refunds for change of mind, but provide refunds or replacements if: (1) the event is cancelled and not rescheduled, (2) tickets are invalid or fraudulent, or (3) you don't receive your tickets in time. Some box office sources (ATG Tickets, OvationTix) may have different refund terms. Always check the specific refund policy on the seller's website before purchasing. We use anonymous browser fingerprinting to remember your preferences (favorite cities, dismissed events, watched shows) locally without requiring registration. If you want to use price alerts with email notifications, you'll need to provide an email address when creating the alert, but there's no formal account signup. Your data is tied to your browser session and stored locally for privacy.

If an event isn't showing up, it could be due to a few reasons: (1) the event might be outside our current coverage areas (Boston/NYC metro), (2) it might not have tickets available yet on the marketplaces we monitor, (3) it could be a very small/local event not listed on major platforms, or (4) our scrapers haven't discovered it yet (we add new events multiple times daily). Seatmap availability depends on whether our data sources provide venue map configurations. We have seatmaps for most major venues (arenas, stadiums, large theaters) from sources like Seatics and StubHub. Smaller venues, community theaters, and some outdoor venues may not have seatmaps available. Even without a visual map, you can still view all available sections and prices in the ticket listings table.
