Privacy Policy

Last Updated: February 13, 2026

1. Introduction

Pops Technologies, LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates TixTreasure (tixtreasure.com) and related services. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

By using the Service, you consent to the collection, use, and processing of your information as described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

  • Email address — if you subscribe to price alerts
  • Alert preferences — search criteria for price notifications (performers, venues, price limits, seat preferences)

We do not collect payment information, mailing addresses, phone numbers, dates of birth, or government IDs.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Browser fingerprint — We use ThumbmarkJS to generate an anonymous identifier based on your browser and device characteristics. This enables personalized features (saved preferences, watched events, dismissed events) without requiring account registration. Unlike cookies, browser fingerprints cannot be cleared through browser settings.
  • Interaction data — We use rrweb to record anonymized interaction patterns (clicks, scrolls, navigation) to improve the user experience. We do not record keystrokes, form inputs, passwords, or text you type.
  • Device information — IP address, browser type and version, operating system, screen resolution, timezone, and language settings
  • Usage data — Pages visited, events viewed, filters applied, links clicked, and session duration
  • Cookies — We use essential cookies for basic functionality. See Section 8 for details.

2.3 Information from Third Parties

  • Ticket data — Event listings, prices, and availability from third-party ticket marketplaces (TickPick, StubHub, Seatics-powered sites, ATG Tickets, OvationTix, Showare). This data is about events and tickets, not about you.
  • Performer metadata — Genre tags, images, and links from MusicBrainz and Deezer for enriching event information.

4. We Do Not Sell Your Data

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for monetary consideration. We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

5. How We Share Your Information

5.1 Affiliate Partners

When you click a link to purchase tickets, we share limited attribution data with affiliate partners:

  • Click identifiers and timestamps
  • Hashed device/browser identifiers

We do not share your email address, browsing history, or personal preferences with affiliate partners.

5.2 Service Providers

We use the following third-party services to operate TixTreasure:

  • Cloudflare — Hosting, CDN, database (Cloudflare Pages, Workers, D1, R2)
  • Mailchannels — Price alert email delivery

These providers process data only per our instructions and are contractually required to protect your information.

5.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose information when required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Company, our users, or the public.

6. Browser Fingerprinting

Important Disclosure: We use ThumbmarkJS browser fingerprinting to create an anonymous identifier based on technical characteristics of your browser and device (browser type, screen resolution, timezone, installed fonts, canvas rendering patterns, and other technical signals).

This fingerprint is used to:

  • Persist your preferences across sessions without requiring login
  • Track your watched events and dismissed events
  • Deliver personalized price alerts
  • Prevent abuse and fraud

Unlike cookies, browser fingerprint data cannot be deleted through your browser settings. To reset your TixTreasure identity, you would need to significantly change your browser configuration (different browser, operating system, or device).

6.1 Opt-Out

Browser fingerprinting is used automatically when you visit TixTreasure to enable personalization features (watched events, saved filters, price alerts). To opt out, you can use a browser with strong fingerprint resistance (e.g., Tor Browser or a VPN with browser fingerprint protection). Clearing your browser cache or localStorage will reset your stored preferences but will not prevent fingerprinting on your next visit.

7. Interaction Recording

We use rrweb to record anonymized replays of user sessions. These recordings capture:

  • Mouse movements, clicks, and scroll behavior
  • Page navigation and filter changes
  • Time spent viewing events

Recordings do not capture keystrokes, form text input, passwords, or content from other websites. Recordings are used solely to improve the user experience and are not shared with third parties.
