# TixTreasure — Complete API Reference

> TixTreasure is a free ticket price comparison engine for live events. It aggregates prices from 7+ ticket marketplaces and shows the total all-in price with no hidden fees. We help fans find bargains — tickets priced below face value or at the best value across sources.

## API Base URL

All endpoints are public (no authentication required). Responses are JSON. CORS is enabled.

### Search Events

```

Full-text search across event names, venues, and performers.

**Parameters:**
- `q` (required) — Search query (e.g. "Celtics", "Taylor Swift", "TD Garden")
- `city` — "boston", "nyc", or empty for all
- `category` — "concert", "sports", "theater", "comedy", "other"
- `limit` — Results count (default 20, max 50)

**Example:**

List upcoming events with optional filters.

**Parameters:**
- `city` — "boston", "nyc", or empty for all
- `category` — "concert", "sports", "theater", "comedy", "other"
- `dateFrom` / `dateTo` — ISO 8601 date range
- `priceMax` — Max ticket price in USD
- `sort` — "date" (default), "price", "name"
- `limit` — Results (default 20, max 50)
- `offset` — Pagination offset

### Compare Prices Across Sources

```

Returns the lowest price from each marketplace with direct buy links. This is the core comparison feature.

**Parameters:**
- `qty` — Number of tickets (default 1). Per-order fees are distributed across this quantity.

**Venues:** 1000+ venues including TD Garden, Madison Square Garden, Fenway Park, Barclays Center, Radio City Music Hall, and community theaters

**Update frequency:** Prices refreshed every 10 minutes from all sources

## Pricing Model

All prices shown are **total all-in cost** including service fees and delivery fees. No hidden checkout surprises.

- `min_price` = lowest available ticket across all sources
- `normalized_price` = per-ticket all-in price for a listing
- Sources with $0 delivery fee (TicketClub): listing price = checkout price
- Sources with per-order fees: fee distributed across ticket quantity
